Here are the expressions you’ll hear:
🤧 Tô gripada — I have the flu.
🤧 Tô derrubada / caída — I’m feeling really rough.
🤧 Tô só o pó da rabiola — I’m completely wiped out.
🤧 Deu ruim — Things went wrong.
🤧 Tô no bico do corvo — I’m at death’s door.
🤧 Tô nas últimas — I’m on my last legs.
🤧 Tô com as horas contadas — My days are numbered.
🤧 Tô com o pé na cova — I’ve got one foot in the grave.
🤧 Tô caidinha — I’m feeling a bit under the weather.
🤧 Tô dodói — I’m feeling poorly. A cute, childlike way to say you’re sick!
🤧 Tô fanha — I sound all blocked up.
🤧 Minha garganta tá doendo — My throat hurts.
