Série veleiro Forel: Life in Greenland

#09. Malou Platou Johansen is a marine biologist and Thomas Eged an airline pilot. They are both from Nuuk, in Greenland. In this chat, Malou recalls the experience aboard the sailing vessel Forel, during the Open Ship Day, in July. She also presents her inspiring work to communicate science.

The second part of this episode is with Thomas, also born in Nuuk and currently living in Italy. Although he is not involved with the Forel Heritage Association, I invited him for this series to hear some interesting advice before travelling to the beautiful island. Enjoy!

This podcast is the ninth of a special series which will take you through the past and present life of "the big lady" - a Brazilian-built vessel refitted into a research platform, allowing international scientists to work in subpolar and polar regions.
