E-170 (EN)-Varsha Manjunath-Software Engineer @ Microsoft

In this episode of the OsProgramadores Podcast, I talk with Varsha Manjunath, a Software Engineer at Microsoft, about her journey in software engineering, her experiences at some of the world's largest technology companies, and the different paths that can lead to a career in technology.

Varsha is currently a Software Engineer 2 at Microsoft. Before joining Microsoft, she worked as a Software Engineer at Google and as a Software Engineer Intern at Juniper Networks.

Her academic and research journey includes a Master's degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Ramaiah Institute of Technology.

Earlier in her career, Varsha also worked on projects involving machine learning, neural networks, FPGA deployment, computer vision, autonomous drones, SLAM, and robotics.

Varsha's journey is a great example of how a career in software can evolve through a combination of formal education, research, internships, experimentation, and continuous learning.
